Lake Tahoe Wooden Boat Week is an annual classic boat meeting, 2000 m above sealevel, located in the Rocky Mountains at the stateline between California and Nevada. It belongs to the most important vintage motorboat meetings in North America and worldwide. The area has a famous history for wooden boats since the last century. The first impression of that particular lake is always breathtaking. The light over the lake seemed to put every line, every detail in a velvet-like glittery atmosphere.
